This happens in FM 11 as well. I've had this change happen a handful of times over the past couple of years and could never figure out what caused it. When I saw it occur I immediately reverted to the saved file. I rarely change Spread, so I don't think that is the critical trigger for this bug

You can delete them. There are multiple HTML pages and you have to delete them one by one. They will reappear if you do a saveAs HTML. I routinely delete them in templates that don't use them as a space saving measure. This is the behavior in FM11 and before. I expect it is the same in FM12. Cr
