Hi Henrik, I would write a script that would 1) Save the book and components to a temporary location. 2) Remove the cross-references to the external files, but leave the cross-reference text. 3) Save the book as PDF. 4) Restore the original book. Rick Quatro Carmen Publishing 585-659-8267
