Hi Roger, I found some missing fonts in an imported graphic recently. The graphic was a PDF file that had been cropped prior to import. The missing font was in the cropped out portion. I was able to open the PDF in Illustrator and delete al the stuff that wasn't supposed to be there anyway.

If you inherited legacy corporate documentation, I'd bet that EMC owns the fonts already, but they just weren't installed on your system, probably because the people who set up systems don't think of "fonts" as part of a writer's workstation. If you inherited legacy corporate documentation, I'd bet that EMC owns the fonts already, but they just weren't installed on your system, probably because the people who set up systems don't think of "fonts" as part of a writer's workstation. I'd start checking with IT and other departments to fin

Thanks to all who replied regarding my missing fonts problem. The answer was a Jakob Schäffer suggested below; as soon as I added C:\PSFONTS to the Distiller font locations (i.e. pointing to the PFB file) the problem went away. Thanks also to Fred Ridder for a warning regarding use of ATM
