Dept, they responded two months after I had already traveled to Cuba and
retunred back. I can only guess that maybe the situation has change.

You should contact the US Embassy and/or any other North American
organizations who may offer travel awards. They should be the ones paying
your trip and your work in this particular case. Most of us in this list
are experimental filmmakers and artists trying to live from our work, and
I don’t know see what is “forcing” anyone to do anything. I still have some
old machines stowed away that can run old systems and old programs if I want
to. (Actually haven’t wanted to for the past year at least.) I have some old
