I'm currently experimenting with applying cyanotype chemicals to clear 16mm
leader and already processed 16mm, then running this through my Bolex to
expose the portions I've painted the chemicals onto. I'm still deciding
whether or not to hand-process afterward.

I've found that Cyanotype absorbs effectively into film that still has its
original gelatin on it, that is, already processed film or clear leader that is
just fixed and still has gelatin. Just soak the film in cyanotype solution,

I use a similar but slightly different approach and generally get really
solid results that work for me - I do both contact printing with found
footage and/or my own footage, as well as contact printing with plant
material and other light block mediums etc. I have tried the bucket method
for coatin

in Waltham about every 3 months, and I have been looking for more
"advanced" methods to continue instruction with those who have already been
introduced to the simpler techniques. I will als

and would love to see some results if not try the process myself on celluloid.
