I use FreeBSD on a laptop with intel I3 CPU.
I installed the base system, and a set of packages to make it a desktop system
(xorg server, internet browser, libreoffice, gimp, rawtherapee, kdenlive, some
pdf viewers, etc. pkg installs their dependencies automatically.

1.)I need to use the drm-kmod package to reach the normal screen
resolution. If this package is installed then I am not able to compile the
kernel after upgrading /usr/src, I get a "macro redefinition" error. If I

back to /boot from /usr/src/stand/forth
On the other hand, removing the reference to efi.4th from loader.rc causes the

yesterday I experienced the problem, but after completely synchronizing the src
tree (deleting the content of the /usr/src folder and svnlite checkout etc.)
and recompiling the kernel I can boot my FreeBSD-CURRENT (12.0, amd64, r328967)

I used login-class (according to the handbook) to set the environment, and

I started to setup my locale again, and found that earlier I should have made a
mistake because the new setup (almost) perfectly works:
I set up login class for me following the handbook as hungarian
(LANG=hu_HU.UTF-8, and charset=UTF-8; set keyboard layout to hungaria
