By the way, portmanager does not have the problems you were
attributing to postmaster. Whether that is by design or just dumb luck
I cannot attest to. That is why I still use it although most other
users have abandoned it.

Seriously, update to the current port version and the problem is
solved. There use to be several programs that were not compatible with
the port's version a few years ago; however, I believe I vetted those
out and was instrumental in getting them corrected. In any case, this
is an easy fix.

p5-Switch port and build the webkit-gtk2 port again. It works fine
then. Obviously, it is a pain in the ass, and I question why the
maintainer did not catch this problem before he submitted the port, but
that is not going to help you now.

the other hand a user claims a valid use of the port, let them take
responsibility for it or find someone who will. Leaving intact ports
that either don't build, cannot be fetched, etcetera does not really
make a lot of sense.
