Dear all,
I've been getting a lot of request for an update of the port to version
1.35.0.
I have put together a version and uploaded it to [1] for testing.
Features:
- boost and boost-python no longer conflict (boost-python just adds
the missing bits)
- Support for OpenMPI and MPICH (in
Contact stas@ about it, he was talking about on in #bsdports this
morning[HTZMV]

Thanks,

-python will no longer conflict
with boost but just add python support. The same applies for OpenMPI
and MPICH support.

Yes. In the mean time, there even is a binary of the UPEK driver for
FreeBSD 7 i386, but the pam module did
.
I did my tests with the UPEK sensor found in Lenovo's T61.

Their right place should be something like, say,

Yes,
all the required distfiles for a specific
port. E.g.
cd /usr/ports/www/apache22
make fetch-recursive-list
If you are going for packages instead of ports, have a look at
pkg_fetch(1).

Certainly, your first port update will take some time, but after all,
it's fun to do it, isn't it? ;-)

Hello,
I finally fixed the valgrind build with gcc 4.2. Could you
please verify that
a) the port also build on 7-current,
b) that there are no regressions (I did a quick test on 6.2,
and it seems to work).

Yes, I am that someone ;-) The port will be ready next week. I'll post it
here so it can be tested before I commit it.
The PR
was not in a
absolutely clean state. For me, running portupgrade -m-DBATCH
-DXORG_UPGRADE -ak until my port installation reached a fixed point
worked very well.
