My gthumb doesn't show thumbnails. :( Nautilus does.
I tried
rm -rf ~/.thumbnails
and that didn't help. Also, I tried reinstalling gthumb. Finally, I
tried updating to 2.10.5 (by editing the port make file to use 2.10.5)
and that didn't help either.

First thing I need to do mount an NFS volume. I was able to mount it
manually. Fine. Then I added an entry to amd.map, did 'amd /mnt
/etc/amd.map' and tried to access the directory in /mnt and it worked.
