Hello, Has anyone had any experience with getting email that has been stored on a remote machine via uucp? I have a friend who held my email while my server is down. He cannot re-que it up, so I need to find a way to uucp down load it via the net. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.. C.

Anyone know how ftp's get logged? I do a last -10 and see a user did a 2 hour ftp, yet he has no files in his home. So I am curious what he downloaded/uploaded. Uploading is easy to poke around and look as his access is limited as to where he can write to. Downloading on the other hand is an o

Remember... Not all companies have $ for a net connection. A friend did exactly that, 128k line for the whole company. Employees did not need to "surf" as part of their work, so the connect speed really didnt matter. As long as email made it through. Times are tough out there right now. C. On
