Go to the /usr/ports/databases/db42 directory and build this port.
You should find some conflicts with the installed version, but you can

ing svnserve using --foreground and nothing is printed
to the screen.
I sounds like the connection is never even getting to svnserve. Did
something change from 1.1.3? Port? Nothing has changed on the
machine. It was working. I upgraded (using ports) and now it doe
eally unclear how to get and upgrade ports
and packages.

That process stopped with an error message stating that a conflict between
xfmail and qt existed and that qt could not be upgraded untill xfmail was
deinstalled so there may be a lot of working data still on the system. Would
that be on root?

Yes, Bob you are right.
The real problem was running KDE while logged in as root, not installing
ports. I deleted all the files that KDE placed in / and now everything is
fine.

install. When it's listing my devices in the very
beginning it does fine untill it hits my HP CD-Writer
Plus 9100i. Then it just freezes. Not even an error

Well, I tried the configuration
to narrow it down with no real luck.
I've tried searching for ports with libgdbm or ld-elf in them and am
not finding any (installed or not).

in their home directory, I used it to convert those to maildir format. I
don't think the port installs convert-tool; I got it by doing 'make' in
the dovecot port directory and manually copied it from there.
