This might be Newbie question: What is the cleanest way to resolve stale dependency with gamin-0.1.5_3. I think I remember seeing a message that it merged into fam. I did a portupgrade -a, and it's still there. I was surprised this was not self cleansing because I used CVSUP to sync my

im trying to update the ports on my FreeBSD 6 release box however when i run portupgrade i get the error Stale dependency: phpMyAdmin-2.6.3.1 -- pdflib-6.0.1_2 -- manually run 'pkgdb -F' to fix, or specify -O to force. i have tryed boath and i cant seem to get it to work. has anyone found

portupgrade -a told me to do pkgdb -F. pkgdb -F asked me what to do with stale dependancies and I didn't know what to do. What should I do? Most of these are the same items that my attempts at a firefox install hangs up at. Below is the dialog: Prajipati-FreeBSD# portupgrade -a [Rebuilding
