A bug in mailman caused a number of messages to be delaye
I don't remember this problem till recently, but now if I hit
ctl-alt-bksp to kill X, my system reboots.
Has any one else seen this?

the "MYADDR" keyword is being expanded to the IP address associated

If you're using dhclient, you might want to read
dhclient-script(8). It has a make_resolv_conf() function which
might be the cause of your problem.

Are you getting your IP via DHCP? I know it can play around with
resolv.conf.

changes the permissions on /etc/resolv.conf to -rw--- 1 root wheel 50 Jan 27
20:33 /etc/resolv.conf every 10-15minutes. Anyone else that have experienced this
wierd problem?

I saw problems like this when PAE was crashing my box in the early version
of 4.9. I would assume the patches were put into RELENG_4_9, but maybe you
want to try RELENG_4 to get -STABLE?
I know this doesn't explain why it is crashing in 4.7 or 4.8 though. Just
a thought.
