Hello,
Just to confirm my suspicions, while compiling apache 2.0.55 on a fresh
install of FreeBSD 5.4 with fresh cvsup'd ports tree I got an error, the
error stated : Bus error.
This is a hardware fault is it not? or is it some other error? It had
been compiling for a fair few minutes before
can cvsup the source and rebuild the IA-64 version so you might have to do a
fresh install, and since you have backups of your databases it should
not take you longer than 1hour to get it all running smoothly again.

Hello,
I tried compiling if_ndis after doing the ndiscvt bit.
ndiscvt does not produce ndis_driver_data.h, even when i've
specified the output file as ndis_driver_data.h
Is this a known issue and how do I resolve this?

Hello,
I have recently upgraded my system (hardware wise).

When I go to view the wireless clients connected to my router it reports
none are connected, yet I am viewing the setup pages!
I disabled my realtek with:
ifconfig rl0 down
I do not have WEP enabled.
Before Gnome started up I noticed

Hi,
There seems to be a need for a web cam streamer for FreeBSD so I have
figured out a VERY tempary solution.
I just created a web cam steam (just a page auto-refresh every 60
seconds).
The webcam:
Logitech Quickcam Express
/query-pr.cgi?pr=i386/84008
I have submitted this problem to the FreeBSD guys via the bug report on
the FreeBSD website aswell.

but I suspect that it's not save to modify it in FreeBSD.)

PCI slot on your machine that you are getting the error from. If it
still gives you the same error, guess what? its time to get another NIC.

Hello,
I have a query as to why FreeBSD 5.3 recognises my Packard Bell's IDE
controller/Hard drive but FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE does not?
I believe it is a GA-6WMM7 Gigabyte motherboard with a 500mhz celeron
128mb ram (crappy system i know but it will do as a testing server).
cheers,

for the native
fbsd jdk14?
