Excellent, this is what I needed.No idea why previous upgrade(s) did not do
this.But I can confirm now that the ntpd service is no longer being
started.

Services are managed by ipa
So clearly in my case, the updates across the last few years never updated my
NTPD setup. Can you offer me instructions how to remove the NTP integration
manually?It's more than simplydisabling ntpd via systemd (already tried
that). There's stuff "inside" freeipa-server I need to remove
