Hello dear all,
I want to use free radius along with MySQL. When I

I compiled the pam_radius_auth on HP-UX 11 (PA-RISC 1.1 processor), but the
password doesn't get encrypted correctly. When I decrypt the password on
the server using the secret it just shows random characters. Could this be
due to the md5 module ??
Thanks,
Walter.

Hi Al,
There is a README.txt file in the src/modules/rlm_sqlcounter that contains
a more complete example of what to put in your radiusd.conf file.
You don't need to put anything in the authenticate block. To activate it,
just add an instance of the rlm_sqlcounter module to your authorize

Hi !
It seems there is a bug in proxy implementation in freeradius-0.5.
Accounting packets never sent to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx if I specify in proxy.conf

That would be a good idea.
What about a post-proxy (Just before you send the radius packet back to
the NAS)?
Yes, too.
Ideally, you could control the flow of packet

Is it safe to use cvs version of freeradius ?
How is it stable compared to releases ? (e.g. 0.5)
It's as stable as we know how to make it, and it has a number of
other bug fixes over 0.5

I'm not sure if you can define your check item in the users file because
there is an initialization order problem. Your new check item attribute
will not be defined before your users file is parsed resulting in an

My workaround

Hello,
I'd imagine this question has already been asked in the past, but, is there a way to limit the times an account can login. Say you only want the account active between 9am -
