Hello there,
I'm currently working on VoIP accounting from cisco gateways.
For the time being freeradius is storing CDRs on a postgreSql database.
Nevertheless, I'm facing a problem with certain Cisco-AVPairs. I can't get FreeRadius to store "Cisco-AVPair = redirected-station=123456789" in th
Hi Alan,
Im using 1.3.16, I compiled using Redhat 8 and it's ok using the same
radius server. But when I compiled/run it under RedHat 9, it doesn't
work. There's no activity in the freeradius debug logging.

Hi,
I have a freeradius server version 0.8.1 that I use to authenticate both
EAP users and username/password users in a MySQL database, using
rlm_sql. My authorize block from radiusd.conf looks like this:

Then pay for effective answers. It's as simple as that.

I'm simply too lazy to answer them.
This project is too large for one person, and I know there are others on

are).
I want to be able to login to a FreeBSD box using any defined RADIUS user.
The RADIUS user must be part of one of three groups, which exist in the
FreeBSD box and are used to define permissions for users within those
groups. The RADIUS user obviously does not exist on the FreeBSD box. How

There were issues with earlier versions of the module in RH 9. The
current one should be OK.

That would depend on Samba. So far as I know, (which is little
about Samba), it can't be done.
I suggest asking on the Samba list.

Yes. The server comes configured to do this. All you have to do is
to supply User-Password attributes for EAP, and /etc/passwd for System
authentication.

Please note that I have a Radius server on
my network running secured. What I would like to do is secure the FTP server so
that all authentication requests are done by the radius server.

It can be done -- but if you're going to have plaintext passwords at all, what's the
point of making things more difficult?

Hi!,
I am a new user to Linux and have installed SUSE V8.2 as a FTP server. The ftp service is working fine but I wish to configure the freeradius application.

Hello to everyone.
This is my first post to the list. I want to have a user that is
allowed to have ISDN or PSTN access and another that should have PSTN
access only. I am using the attribute NAS-Port-Type in the check list
to accomplish this. In the first user I want the NAS-Port-Type to have
