Hi,
Why don't you have a unique record based on session id or combination of fields
(after all you are a DBA)?
For the second Q No answer.
Recommendation: use detail files and load manually to your database :)
Best regards,

Hi all,

Yes, that helps exactly - thanks.
I also found a way to work around the problem without translation - by
having a multiple-entry DEFAULT line to direct each ssid to it's own dbm
lookup table. It took some re-reading of the rlm_dbm docs to figure out,
but it works... Although I now have three dbm

RADIUS != PPPoE
Can you explain what, exactly you mean?

Hi!
I have a general question. Is it possible to enter
the hostname of a NAS instead of the IP-Address?
User-A Auth-Type := Local, NAS-IP-ADDRESS == 1.1.1.1
User-B Auth-Type := Local, NAS-IP-ADDRESS == hostname
If not, is there another attribute I have to use, in order to use
a hostname ?

Hi
I’ve managed to configure freeradius 1.0.1 on Fedora
Core 3 authenticating against Microsoft AD (Windows 2003).
My Access point is a cheap generic 802.11G one made by Inexq
– I supports Radius (EAP and/or MAC).
When I configure my XP supplicant (SP2) to use PEAP and run

It looks like the {Pre,Post}-Proxy-Type stanzas were never supported in
the first place. That's why Paul removed them from the documentation.
The module_{pre,post}_proxy functions were added in 2
Can I get a client to dial-in to the radius box using PPPoE or

Hi, all
I have a small office which has ASDL link and wireless AP/client with full NAT
access to internet through 1 public IP. The other office on another location
has freeradius installed, which also has access to internet through 1 public IP

I can't think of anything in those files that would be OS dependent.
Main thing to make sure of is that the installation directory is the
same on both boxes, otherwise the file references in radiusd.conf will
all be pointing to the wrong spot.

Hello everyone,
I have FreeRadius running on Linux platform. But we want to
migrate to solaris. I already have FreeRadius running on Solaris 9. If I just
copy the files Clients.conf, Users and radiusd.conf to the new solaris server
will it work? I’m not sure either FreeRadius is OS inde
Sorry, I'm just a lurker on this list and certainly no expert. However, last
time I saw someone mention this issue it had to do with log rotation. Check
to make sure logs are not being rotated every hour.
Anyway, just a thought.

Hi,
As far as I know, my radius server is up and running correctly. My laptop,
iPaq all have certificates and user names and all are able to log in
correctly, I'm using EAP-TLS on the current release of freeradius.
If I change the user name on only of these to a name which doesn't exist in
