duplicate radacct entries

I am using pptp with radiusclient, and a mysql backend.  The problem is that the radiusclient puts in too many entries into the database.  Below is a copy of one client connecting and disconnecting.  The problem appears to be that for the second entry there is never a acctstoptime entered

freradius Segmentation fault

I am testing out authentication with radtest.  If I send the wrong group password I get invalid Message-Authenticator which is what I expect, the second I put in the correct password I get the Segmentation fault  This is on Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS.  Is this a knows issue, or am I screwing
