Yes. You will need to create two mschap instances (one with ntlm_auth and
one without) and failover in Auth-Type MS-CHAP.
Auth-Type
based on their
login credentials.

I'm setting up Freeradius 1.1.4 on a SUSE 10 server for our wireless users
with XP SP2 using PEAP. Because we use eDirectory I strip the computer name
from the username, not every users uses the Novell client. The user get
authorize but I can't get the authentication to work. For some

return them in order for the user to be authorized. Then freeradius
binds to eDirectory with the userid and password for authentication.

I'm thinking that part of this below might be that I can only test locally
with radtest. Is there a way to tell radtest to simulate a chap password?
But when our provider was running a couple authentication tests for me
before I put the backup drive in place it would not authenticate chap.

We test EAP-TTLS with enterasys swithes with supplicant odyssey client
and FUNK steelbelted radius server. it works. So the Enterasys switches
support EAP-TTLS.
But we cant buy odyssey at this point. so we had to enable EAP-TTLS on
