on Apple platforms, it sounds reasonable attitude to handle such
incorrectly(?) embedded CFF font.

old versions of free software made (or converted) such, but
it seems to be my misunderstanding.
Although I cannot reproduce such PDFs immediately, I think
your request is reasonable.
