I'm a little confused here, but I'm getting this error:
item.py (352): unable to store info for 'filename' (no extension)
It seems to be happening here:
util/mediainfo.py (457)
elif not self.filename:
return False
It is working fine in other directories with movie
I've updated to the new mmpython snapshot and removed the metadata, it works
now!
But the playback is very sluggish, i see the HDD and CDROM LEDs blink for 1
second, the pause, then blink again, then pause and so on, and the playback
stops every 2 seconds and then continues ... But at least it

I have seen a problem with Childapp2. Basically if the program ends
before you can get into the loop polling it. Then it will crash on the
wait. I can trigger this pretty realiably in the commands plugin with a
script that runs basically a bunch of echo statements.

Is there a way for me to do textual input in freevo? I've looked through
the docs and some plugins and couldn't see a way. I need to be able to
enter numbers and short text strings.

There is a plugin out there, the freevo mailreader, which supports replying
to a mail via cellphone-style text input, so there _is_ at least a way of
typing something, let's hope that someone writes a module for other plugins
(viggo, you hear me? ;-)...

I have sorted out some dissarray on my main freevo box so I could
actively record again. So, in using the web based guide for the first
time in a while I've noticed a problem. When I click on a program the
popup doesn't appear on the (visible) screen but instead I must scroll
to the top
