Ok, I was able to create a testcase for the bug I have.
It seems to definitely be pysqlite2/sqlite bug.
When I run the attached script, I get the following output:

2 None
instead of
id name

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the information.
I updated from dvn and did some debugging, my problem lies in the latter
case:

Please disregard the previous patch, since it disable deleting and
renaming files from the web page access. Use the new patch attached.

Hello,
I am not sure if you are still looking for the library patch. But the
attached patch should restrict access to all directories except the
ones listed in VIDEO_ITEMS, AUDIO_ITEMS, IMAGE_ITEMS, record directory
and all subdirectories with in them. Please take a look at it.
Thanks

Hi all,
I do not know if this conversation will continue here.
Just a small suggestion from my part: some developments seem to have
resumed on the 1.X branch while Dirk and his team are putting all their
effort on 2.0. Maybe, it could be useful to tag the messages with the
freevo version (1.x or

It is? Strange, it should be way to old because it is a link to sf
cvs, but it shouldn't be dead. But either way, we need to remove it.

Hi,
first of all, the "Browse Source" at http://freevo.sourceforge.net/ is dead.
Second of all, do I get it right that there is no web-view of the
Freevo-SVN? I saw that there were discussions about installing ViewVC.

Hi Everybody,
I decided to give Freevo 2.0 a shot and see whats happening. I followed
the instructions from the wiki and have freevo and kaa compiled and
installed. But when I try to run it 'freevo' under X, i get the
following error:
Traceback (most recent call last):

Just reading the xine source to find out a bit more about this pvr
plugin - the ability to save off permanently what you've been watching
sounds really cool. If this was implemented in Freevo it'd be a pretty
impressive addition to the live tv feature.

Hi,
The one constant complaint that I've seen over the years for freevo has
been the configuration for tv. With analogue, ivtv, dvb, video groups,
frequency lists, channel lists, mplayer/tvtime/xine and more to choose
from it's often a stumbling block for new users trying to get going and

I don't mind at all, but I also think I'm not the one to be asked such a
thing. In fact, that project was declared "abandonware" by the original
