I'm determined to record from composite! So I am back again I have got Freevo to record from composite but it's just the video aspect not the sound. I specified /dev/dsp/ as the adev (since im piping the sound into my audio cards line-in) but it seems to ignore that option. Is this true? I did a gr

MPlayer 2:0.99+1.0pre8-0ubuntu8 it is the one you get when you apt-get
mplayer in Ubuntu 6.10
The error is not on the vo xvmc (that IS supported), mplayer complains
about scaling this codec to the movie/screen size.
I did not get that error in my 1.5 year old setup that was on my
machine ear

(I know that int f(void) is correct, and I don't have any objection to
your patch, but I want to know why you're having problems.)

Technically kaa.db (in kaa.base) uses pysqlite, and beacon uses kaa.db.

Hmm, what is the error/warning line gcc gives you? I don't see a
problem with gcc 4.1.1 on FC5.

Ok got 1.6 running and applied the patch. For some reason my current
mplayer does not want to accept the params my previous mplayer install
would accept. So I'd advise unichrome users to simply not use Mplayer
but xine forall kinds of mpeg files.

Hi all,
I've been working on the programs that Hui Zhou wrote to extract closed
captions from an ivtv mpeg file, which has embedded vbi data.
What I've done is to convert the program to do the same for embedded
teletext data. Where I need some help is can someone record a few
minutes of NTSC vide

Fixed. Feel free to check in patches youself in the future, you have
full svn access and the 1.6.0 release shows that you know what you are

Hi,
With mmpython and freevo-1.6 pysqlite-1 from the freevo2 wiki it doesn't
specify which versions of sqlite and pysqlite to use, so I'm guessing
that sqlite-3.3.5 and pysqlite-2.3.1 are okay as these are the current
gentoo versions.
Does kaa.metadata require pysqlite or is this to do with freev
