OK, cleared the db error; but with the same checkout I have an imlib2
error. Here is the (I think) relavent output from kaa install:

(before the major refactoring [#9981]) because I didn't have enough time to
debug any problems. I assume I have convert my local_conf to match all the
variable changes and whatnot.
