Bear with me, new to Linux and Freevo. I understand how to load .jpg
album covers in Freevo but is there any other way to load album covers
instead creating .jpgs of each item? i.e. how MusicMatch does it. Any
tips on how to handle this?
Thanks!

I am trying out freevo after using mythtv. The main reason for me to
switch to freevo would be that the files are more standard, mythtv uses
modified nupplevideo format.
The problem I have run into is that to play my old mythtv files mplayer
must be patched. I can't get any version I compile to
freevo-runtime seems to be all linked to runtime/dll/libc.so.6, which is
a glibc 2.2.something library. However, when compiling for dxr3
support, mplayer and libsdl are linking to my version of glibc, which is
2.3.1. They then refuse to load with the message
./runtime/apps/freevo_python:
O.K. I'm and just in off the rice paddies of
the Windows world so bear with me if I am asking dumb questions here, (and yes I
have looked through the list archive before I asked).
here are the system specs:
2.2 AMD
AD 77 Infinity Pro
10 GB WD Hard drive (OS)
80 GB Maxtor Hard Drive (Media)
Thank you very much for that very valuable answer!
I guess if the quality is that poor, I won't bother
getting a wintv usb card.
Is there a good external alternative to get a video
capture device that I can use with freevo with a
decent quality?
Has anyone got another alternative?
Cheers for your
