I ended up upgrading automake and autoconf to the latest version in portage and now i can build the latest SDL cvs snapshot. With DirectFB 0.9.20 i can now run freevo using dfbmga and defining SDL_DIRECTFB_MGA_CRTC2, If i simply specify dfbmga and set primary-layer=02 in directfbrc i still get
