OK I recompile the kernel with the matroxfb stuff as modules
modprobe fusion
lsmod show all those modules loaded
compiled mplayer1.0pre3 from source (after build DirectFB of ccurse)
fired up mplayer works beautifully.

I am having some touble with cd
audio. I use supermount to mount my cd device. When I have a connection to the
internet it appears to collect the CDDB which works ok. However if I don't have
an internet connection Freevo never sees the device as CD
audio.
