If you dont intend to use xmltv (which is a shame, because it is one of
the main parts of the 'experience') then your channels wil just say no
data loaded. You will still be able to run the channels and manually
record.

You can use the /etc/freevo/local_conf.py file to manually set the channels.
There are 2 variables under the TV section in that file called
FREQUENCY_TABLE and TV_CHANNELS that you can use to setup your channel line
up. Then you could uses freevo's manual record like you suggest.

After a lot off suxesfull recordings I ran into one minor problem, I
want to record something thats all-ready playing.
From the web interface I klick the program and the standard record-box
pops up, but from the remote control I have no clue how to start

That didn't work so I digged trough my lircrc and found out that the Rec
