Does anyone knows how to loop a slideshow?
I choose an image directory and the slideshow starts. What I want is that
the slideshow restarts automaticly after the last picture is shown.
Thanks,

Hi,
I have some need of 'hand tuned' fxd files for some movies, but I'm lost
in the (non existing) documentation.
For instance, it seems possible to deal with subtitle, but I was unable
to find a working sample (I don't exactly know the benefit for freevo
having information about subtitle !)
Hi,
I want to configure mplayer for hardware motion compensation, as my mplayer
is compiled for that feature.
Here is what I see when a dvb mpeg2 is playing:
$ ps -ef | grep mplayer
croisez 28157 28154 1 12:38 pts/400:00:00 /usr/local/bin/mplayer -vo
xv,sdl,x11, -ao oss:/dev/dsp -autosync 1
I get a crash when I try to find a cover for some albums - this is with the
latest release freebvo 1.7.2

You can find about fxd files here:
http://freevo.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/doc/FXDFiles, and inside
/Docs/fxd_files.txt. Maybe it´s not complete, but it´s
a good start point.

Hi All,
somehow I have a problem that freevo is not quoting the filenames in the
mplayer command and therefore I can not play my MP3 files.
It seems problem exists since I upgraded to 1.71.
childapp.py (139): ChildApp.__init__(), pid=4528,
app="/usr/bin/mplayer-bin -slave -autosync 100 -nolirc -

Hi,
I had the same problem a few times whith my 1.6.x setup, but since
1.7.0 this problem has never came back again... actually, that is why
I didn't post a question about it myself.
Maybe it's a good idea to upgrade to 1.7.x?

I know what it does in mplayer but what does freevo do with it? How can
one play around with it?

Hi Duncan,
thanks for the help. Actually it seems only to happen if I start "freevo
-trace". If I just start freevo everything plays fine, but using "freevo
-trace" he is jumping through my MP3's.
But nothing realy major.
Cheers

Hi,
A couple of times now I've been watching a recording or dvd with df_xine
and it doesn't respond to my lirc commands. Looking in main log I see
the following:
childapp.py (176): kill signal=15
childapp.py (191): killed the easy way
childapp.py (194): reading threads stopped
bookmarker.py (12
Hi,
I had observed the same while ago, but it stop to respond after
pressing a key some times in the remote (like pressing N times the
forward button while trying to find a scene).
