I'm a Freevo n00b having trouble getting things running. I've read the FAQ,
searched the list archives, hunted through docs and didn't find anything
similar, apologies if I've missed something obvious.
I have a Via EPIA MII 6000 motherboard, I'm running Zenwalk Linux (a

Manaully change the Version Number in the local_config.py to 5.20.
That will fix the version problem. Second step is make sure you have a
working X server by starting X with startx. If that works then you can
start solving the rest of the problems. If X is working, then form a

Thanks Duncan - in fact I used your guide to get set up. Config and setup
as you describe seemed to work as expected - but I cant' seem to get any
I understand it will probably yield unacceptable performance on your
rig, but have you tried dropping back to the vesa driver to see if
Freevo will at least come up?

great but I thing 'bugged'.
When I enter a DVD with a video_ts directory, I can play the
DVD anymore.
From Watch-Movies, I see a entry MOVIE TITLE HERE. Normally
when I press enter, The DVD
