I've found a bit of a pattern as to why launching TVTime doesn't always set the audio properly. TVTime doesn't always launch properly when selecting a channel. If it fails for any reason, the audio will never reset and I have to do it manually. I will try and grab the log file next time but I

I'm having a bit of annoying problem with Freevo 1.5.4. This is a fresh build but I copied my local settings from the old config. TVTime works 90% of the time. On occasion I go back into watch TV from the EPG and it seems to 'forget' to un-mute the sound and turn up the volume on the line-in.

Everything has been working great with my freevo box -- until today. I haven't updated any software or changed anything today. Now when I start to watch TVTime with my bttv tv card, I only get sound the first time I watch a channel. Every time after that it doesn't unmute and turn up line-in.

As the subject says, I have spdif out working with xine. My config: XINE_VO_DEV = 'Xv' XINE_ARGS_DEF = '--no-lirc' XINE_AO_DEV = 'alsa' Its not out by much, but its out -- if I turn up the volume on the TV, which is regular sound-out, there's an echo between the two as well. Any suggestions?
