I'm having a bit of annoying problem with Freevo 1.5.4. This is a fresh build but I copied my local settings from the old config.
TVTime works 90% of the time. On occasion I go back into watch TV from the EPG and it seems to 'forget' to un-mute the sound and turn up the volume on the line-in.
While playing a DVD, the audio and vidio are out of sync. I'm using Xine as my dvd player software. Any suggestions?

Hi all,
I've reloaded my freevo box with a new version of Linux (arch linux - www.archlinux.org).
I did everything to set it up, installed all of the pre-reqs based on Arch's package manager, etc.
When I try and start freevo, I get:

Everything has been working great with my freevo box -- until today.
I haven't updated any software or changed anything today. Now when I
start to watch TVTime with my bttv tv card, I only get sound the first
time I watch a channel. Every time after that it doesn't unmute and
turn up line-in.

This did the trick, however, I'm still having a problem with AC3 out.
It works fine with vdr-xine -- I get AC3 no problem but when I play a

Hi all,
I'm using Freevo with my vdr-xine-network setup and have spdif out with AC3 working for it. When I put a DVD in, however, mplayer just gives static. Like its playing the AC3 digital data over the analog speakers.

Away you go. You will see a grey screen on starting Xwindows, but
