winTV card, I have sound while I'm recording, so I know the card is
producing the signal, just for some reason mencoder isn't receiving it.

I'm hoping you folks can help me get over the last hurdle. I've
installed freevo 1.4.1 on an AMD Duron running Redhat 9.0. I'm using a
winTV card (NTSC 38101 Rev B410).
I made changes to local_conf.py and now I can watch TV and get sound.

I recently upgraded to 1.4 and immediately ran into problems. I started
record_server.py from the command line, then started freevo, and tried to record a
couple test programs, one which was already running, and on that was about to start.
This is the results I obtained from my recordserver-0.
