This may be because the /var/lib/freevo/schedule.pickle or
~/.freevo/lib/schedule
Making some progress. After cleaning up more junk and rerunning tv_grab, I
got passed the issue with chan.logo.
I am now able to see the TV Guide. When I select a channel and press enter,
I now crash with the following:

When the bugs are all out. On a more serious note, there is still a
chunk of work to do to get 1.8 ready to replace the 1.7.X release.
Basicly all the features of 1.8 are in 1.7.5 The biggest gain is
coming form a some more recodes to make more use of the kaa libs in
1.x line. That will then speed
