Trying to get lirc working on a epia M1000 motherboard. I had it working on the same motherboard with RH 9, wich is depreciated for the freevo 1.5 release. Apparently, I'm missing a kernel module. I've found already some patches, but also the warning they produce more problems then they solve.

I had some problems with lirc in FC2. I removed the RPM and installed this one: http://dag.wieers.com/packages/lirc/lirc-0.6.6-2.1.fc2.dag.i386.rpm This is exactly the package I use, but AFAIK it didn't provide the lirc kernel module. (correct me if I'm wrong). I've already done updatedb +
