I would like a pre-record setting and a post-record setting. The second option sounds fun but it shouldn't be enabled by default. I wouldn't use it because I don't use Freevo for watching TV just as a PVR. If something poped up and I didnt press a button, I would never record it. That wouldn't

All this stuff has been talked about before. Now that 1.4 is out you will soon see the pre/post recording buffer feature. For the recording notification the recordserver would have to notify the TV frontend that it wants to start recording. I would like to have the TV side listen for xml-rpc

I have a question about the recording deamon (actually two). 1.) Does it record X minutes/seconds before the actual record time? 2.) If so if I pre-record 3 minutes show A and show B starts right after A (but 3 minutes before B) does it re-attempt to record if it notices the /dev/video devices is
