I've done that also, and even when i put a md5 hash in the password
field, i also changed the atribut of the XML to md5 but still the same

I do see that David asked you to run the server in DEBUG mode and
asked to check if you have more entries in the log file. As David
stated, it appears that the log you gave us does not seem to be
complete or there might be other issues that we need to loo
