Have you checked to see if you have VIPP licensed on your DocuSP RIP? Back in the early days, if you did not license VIPP, you could still run some number of VIPP records. You may want to check with a Xerox Analyst or Service person to see if your VIPP license is valid, installed correctly, etc.

There's no specific built-in method for decoding the 128 barcode encoding, but you could do something like this to see the checksum value (generally the next-to-last character in the barcode string): var s = Make128Barcode("12345"); return s.charCodeAt(s.length-2); But you have to be careful,
