It won't because the Apple AirPort card doesn't come with an antenna and
relies on internal antennas that were incorporated in Macintosh, I think

I've had this TiPB for about a year now, and I'm not sure if I've
ever tried to use it on a dialup connection before. I've got
DSL/Airport at home, and high speed network and wireless at the
University, so maybe I haven't tried to use the modem before. At any
rate, I tried to use it yesterday
OS X stops charging when it reaches (usually 90-90%), to prevent lots
of rapid discharges and re-charges damaging the battery.
Your iPod is probably drawing charge and affecting this, disconnect the
iPod and see what charge you reach before it stops, if it is still 88%,
