Is anyone using an iPod on their Lombard? I'm having problems getting this
one to be recognized. Here's the poop...

Does anyone think using some sort of trickery (think "Wish I were...")
could make Battery Reset work *on* a Pismo?

I had the same 'coincidence'. I found even booting natively into 9
showed the same reduced battery life, after installing 10. Were you
upgrading from 9 to jag or from another version of 10? I noticed
battery life reduction each time; a lot (~50%) 9 > 10.1, maybe 10 - 15%
more, 10.1 > J
Can anyone explain the difference between the revision 1 and revision
2 processors in a Pismo 500 and how to identify the difference, are
they interchangeable, is one more prone to problems then the other
and any other bits of knowledge that may enlighten my journey to
rebuild a Pismo

It is slightly less. Just make sure you grab the 10.2.8 combo update. That
should help with the battery.

I finally upgraded my Pismo to Jaguar several weeks ago, and immediately
noticed that the 2 hrs. or so that I could get out of my battery
(especially if I really dimmed the screen and used a minimal extension
set) in 9.2 had shrunken (is that a word??) to less than an hour with
Jaguar, even whe
