Good advice.
Odds are the link will look very real, too,
taking you to a realistic copy of the target's web site.

Possibly for the first time since leaving OS 9 have I needed
the handy little keyboard layout utiliy that maps all the keys
on the keyboard, hand when looking for odd key-combos
with the Opt key.
But I cannot find one in OS X, surely they haven't abandoned
such an important utility ???

P.S.
Go to the keyboard layout menu (that little flag in the menu bar), and
select Keyboard Viewer. If it's not there, go to System
PrefsInternationalInput Menu and make sure Show input menu in menu
bar (bottom-left) and Keyboard Viewer (in scrolling list) are
checked.

if the card is one of the one's supported by the sourceforge driver
(http://wirelessdriver.sourceforge.net/) that will work with OSX, a lot
of the same cards (the ORiNOCO cards in particular) are supported by
Airport software under OS9
all you need is a wireless/router and you are good to go
I haven't received a single post from the list since Friday, then got
one today...I checked the archives and see that there were 20 or so
that I didn't get. I also subscribe to the LEM swap and vintage lists,
and nothing from them either, so I suspect servers maybe? I normally
get around 40
