Dave, A couple of things that worked for me. 1. Make sure that you have no other AV input connections active. At least RCA jacks. I can leave my coaxial cable connected but not the RCA jacks. 2. I think there is a proper sequence for turning on, but since the S-Video is hot swappable what works

Steen, My Wallstreet has S-Video out. You need an S-Video cable and an S-Video external appliance such as TV. I found that it was a little fussy about the sync between TV on and booting etc. But, in the end since the S-Video port is hotswappable I found that TV on, computer booted, then plug both
