well well.. time didn´t change the pismo´s graphics behaviour ;( as well as Pram reset or Powermanager reset didn´t MacOS seems to run in full functionality, so CPU, ram, mainboard, sound/powercard ... should be ok It´s just that I have to navigate blindly... I am disassembling the book now again

Well, Operation Pismo Soundcard soldering was solved perfectly The PB boings, it starts, it sleeps, everything is just doing fine, except: it´s blind... the LCD stays black and an external monitor stays black too.. ..rr.. Maybe I should wait for some hours or so ?? Cause the first starts even th

Hello I am looking for some upgrade for my Pismo. First: I plan to swap out my noisy & buggy old IBM Travelstar 20 MB. But what new drive I should get ? 40 GB would be best .. The cheapest would be either an Fujitsu 40 GB (MHR 2040 AT) or an Toshiba 40 GB (MK 4018 GAS) each for ca. 126 (T)euro

hi Ryan Are you using OS9 or OSX? It could be a software problem (hopefully). I´m using 9.2.2 but there´s also a SuSE Linux 7.1 on the disc and when I tried this it gave me errors for the sound startup, staying quiet. Later now I run SuSE with sound on the phones as well as on the speakers, ok
