I use mine for my old ZIP drive often. no problems with 10.2 or 10.3

if the card is one of the one's supported by the sourceforge driver
(http://wirelessdriver.sourceforge.net/) that will work with OSX, a lot
of the same cards (the ORiNOCO cards in particular) are supported by
Airport software under OS9
all you need is a wireless/router and you are good to go
I have a Lombard 400 and the wonky happens to me if I try to transfer
a large file (as in installing the OS) with more than 384mb (256 in the
bottom and 128 in the top) I had the full 512, has problems, put the
128 in the top and it's stable and reasonably quick. i didn't notice
too much the
try booting holding the command and the v key so that you can boot
in verbose mode this will allow you to see what it's doing at start
up line by line .. like the unix machine that it now is
