Thank you immensely ! Your tip was right on the money, My wife happily
reports that the bronze PB is now, once again, charging the battery!
Thanks also to the other suggestions offered (however, I remain dubious
about the solution that required bouncing the PB off the side of a dumpster
My wife has encountered the this troubling phenomenon this last week - her
powerbook refuses to charge her battery any longer. She can still use the G3
333 MHz when plugged in to a wall socket, but it will power down immediately
when this energy source is removed. After looking at the Apple
Reseat the battery. Pop it out and push it back in. I had the same problem and this
fixed it.

Well, I wish it were that responsive. I've tried that to no avail. The
laptop is seeing the battery, because it gives me an exed out icon if I
remove it. I will not however, take any charge!!
