Hi, Listers! I finally was dragged, kicking and screaming , to the OS X side, after seeing what Windows XP does on my son's Sony KR-15 laptop. So I sold my PowerBook 1400c/333 MHz G3, my Kanga, and my WallStreet 266 MHz on which I had used OS X.1.5, didn't like it, and stayed a few more years

Hi, Rick! Nops, every sound level is set at maximum, and everything sounds fine except the StartUp chord. Funny, when I start in 9.2.2, the Start Up Mac chord is loud and clear, but not with Mac X.3. If I remember well, with Mac X.1.5, the chord was heard in all its glory... Is this really an
