What I would do is bring it to the AppleStore (or anywhere else that
PowerBooks are sold) and put it next to one of their 15" PowerBooks.

light, basically, so it is possible that something is developing with
the
backlight.
The "problem" is that it's not exactly dark or unreadable. (*) W
Before doing that, just make double sure that pressing F2 doesn't
brighten
it back up, and for good measure, take a look at the brightness slider
in
the display control panel.
