I'm pretty sure all machines of the PB G4 / 400 have a an ATI Rage

That's why you can't take a snapshot picture of a
movie. If you remove the DVD the picture will became a
grey or brown box.
VLC uses the normal video.
Only ATI Cards have this problem.
