You're wrong. :-) I have burned at 16x from both my Pismo G3/500 and my iMac DV G3/400 'grape'. With two different external firewire CD-R drives, both 16/10/40. I don't recall whether they have 2MB or 8MB buffers, but buffer underrun was not a problem. One thing that IS important is that
