The Macally (1.1) USB card is flat and has a 2-port dongle. It fits under any of my other PC cards. Although it's not being manufactured any longer, you ought to be able to come across a used one for $30 or so. I hate dongles. They get lost, come lose, break, etc. That figured strongly in

Thanks for the tips, Donna, but I have an Epson printer already attached to the serial port on the PB, and adding a USB card will let me use the USB cradle that came with the Visor at the same time, as opposed to futzing around with a serial switchbox, which I've played with be before, and
